My work and entrepreneurial life started at a pretty early age. My first job was at a fast food restaurant and from what I know, it was illegal for me to work at that age. However it didn't take me long to realize it wasn’t the job for me. I went on to work at Skylon Tower and Future Shop for the next two years.
During my graduating year of high school, I was given the greatest opportunity: To be the co-owner of a newly founded tour company in Niagara falls called See Sight Tours. The opportunity came just when it was graduation time. Luckily I had convinced my parents that I did not want a car or a laptop for graduation but rather a loan to buy into See Sight Tours. Within just a few months my partner and I turned it into a very profitable, stable and structured company.
In 2008 I decided to move into the automotive business and start a small car dealership. I sold See Sight Tours and started to pursue my dream of a car dealership. After 8 months of business planning, getting licenses and certifications, taking courses, finding a property lot and learning the basics, I established Momo Cars Incorporated in September of 2008.
Today, Momo Cars Inc is on 108 Geneva Street, St Catharines, Ontario. It's a 20 car lot with my own office. Of course I don't have 20 cars yet and of course the ones that I do have are not very expensive. But I know that one day it's going to be a lot more than 20 cars, and they’re all going to be a heck of a lot more expensive!
Brock Business Party.
Guinness Brock.
World's Largest Dodge Ball Game.
BUSAC Counsellor.
If any of those ring a bell, you know who I am. I created and hosted the Brock Business Party in 2008. I am the founder and president of Guinness Brock. My club also organized the World's Largest Dodgeball game and set Brock's first world record! Currently the club is working on establishing a one of a kind Record system for Brock, so students can set records amongst each other.
Within three months of joining Brock in my first year I was elected by the students to be the Business Representative on BUSAC. After a successful first year, I ran in elections again and was re-elected by students. With two years of experience I now understand the problems of BrockU and know exactly how to change them. Therefore, this is why I am running for a position where I can effectively make change as BUSU President.
In my second year I founded the Guinness Brock club and was appointed the Socials Coordinator for Brock BSA. (Business Students Association). I threw the Brock Business Party, which was a great success!
